Fabric softener leaves residues on the fibers, which reduce the softness of the towels and reduce their absorbency. Vinegar will help soften the water and refresh the fibers.
The right temperature is also important - wash the towels at 40 to 60 °C (according to the label) to kill bacteria but not damage the terry structure. And drying? They can be dried in the dryer, but at lower temperatures to avoid damaging the fibers of the towels and bath towels. In general, however, it is better to let them dry outside in the fresh air.
